QUESTIONS

How do I earn XP?

Every coral earns 25 XP for each $1 you pay for it, after any sale price and code (LPS earns 15, and a pack earns on its price over $49). Your first coral from each family (Tenuis, Millepora, Misc Acro) adds 500 XP, each monthly challenge 1,000, and all three in a month 3,000 more. Store credit doesn’t earn XP.

When does Double XP start?

From Level 2. It starts the day your order ships, not the day it arrives, and the first order you place in that window earns double XP on its corals (bonuses aren’t doubled). The window is 10 days: 13 from Level 7, 16 from Level 12, 19 from Level 17 and 21 from Level 22. It ends at 11:59 PM Pacific on its last day.

How do I use a code?

In your cart, tap CODES AVAILABLE and APPLY one, or enter it at checkout. One code per order: codes don’t combine with each other or with another code like REEF15. Codes never expire, work only on your account, and come off what you buy, not shipping.

How do Supply Drops from levels work?

Tap OPEN CRATE in REWARDS: your prize is picked and saved, and it stays yours. ADD TO AN ORDER puts it in your cart free, alongside at least one paid coral, one drop per order. A Drop Upgrade lifts a $299 or $399 Supply Drop one tier; on an order with no Supply Drop, or with the $499 XL, it opens a crate of its own.

Can I use a code and a drop on the same order?

Yes. One order can take one code and one level drop or Drop Upgrade. A level drop comes on top of the Supply Drop an order of $299 or more earns.

What are SILVER, GOLD and NEBULA?

Buy 5 different corals from one family (Tenuis, Millepora or Misc Acro) in a season for SILVER, 10 for GOLD. GOLD in all three families in the same season is NEBULA. Each season (a calendar quarter) starts the count over, and your best ever stays on your badge. LPS, packs and store credit don’t count.

Do levels or rewards expire or reset?

No. Your level and XP never reset, and your codes and drops don’t expire. Monthly challenges start over each month; the standings and family tiers start over each season.

What happens if I cancel or return an order?

A cancelled or refunded order earns no XP, and only the corals you keep count. If that lowers your level, unused rewards from those levels are removed. A code you used on an order that’s cancelled comes back to you as a new code.

What’s Early Look?

From Level 3, you hear about new drops before everyone else: the drop email comes to you 1 hour early (2 hours from Level 31, 4 from Level 61) and opens the whole drop on its own Early Look page.

Do my past orders count? Do I need an account?

Orders placed from October 21, 2026 count; earlier orders earn no XP. You don’t need an account: your XP follows the email you order with. Sign in with that email to see your level and use your rewards.

How does Bring a Collector work?

Share your link from this page. When a friend’s first order ever is $149 or more after discounts, and it ships and they keep it, you get 10,000 XP and they get 5,000 once Jase checks it. Up to 3 friends a season, and you need an order of your own first.

How do I change or hide my name on the standings?

On the standings, tap PICK A USERNAME (or CHANGE) and choose a username (it doesn’t have to be your real name). Names are 3 to 16 characters: letters and numbers, with spaces, dashes or underscores between. Each one is checked before it shows; until then you’re listed as user and four numbers. Your first username that passes earns 500 XP, once. You can hide it again any time.
