REEF JASE isn’t a corporation. It’s one owner-operated store in Southern California — my tanks, my camera, my packing table, my name.
I spent a decade in this trade before I owned any of it, and that decade is why the store runs the way it does: WYSIWYG only, conditioned before it lists, packed like it matters. If you email about an order, the person who answers is the person who packed the box.
2016
First paid saltwater job at 18 — a fish store in Orange, California. Cleaning tanks, hauling salt, learning the trade from the floor up.
ON STAFF
Years on the floor at Reef Lounge, helping build one of the most respected shops in Southern California. Fish, coral, the whole floor — as an employee, not an owner.
THE GRIND
Ran sales for shop after shop across the SoCal scene — on their payroll, on their floors, building their rooms.
2022
Started selling my own coral. First frags cut from my own systems, sold direct to reefers who knew my name before there was a storefront.
2024
Went full-time on it — my livestock, my systems, my storefront, under an earlier name.
2025
Put my own name on the door: REEF JASE. The people who buy from me have always known me for me — now the name matches.
WHAT I DO MYSELF
01Every coral is hand-picked. No bulk imports, no mystery frags.
02I photograph every individually sold coral myself. Curated Jase Select packs are labeled separately.
03Every piece holds in my systems at least 14 days for observation and conditioning before it lists.
04I pack every box myself. FedEx or UPS Priority Overnight, Monday–Thursday, weather-gated.

FedEx or UPS Priority Overnight. If the destination forecast is outside safe range, I hold the shipment.
REEF JASE is independently owned and operated by Jase out of Southern California — one store, one owner, one set of tanks. Every coral it sells is picked, photographed, conditioned and packed by the owner himself. If a coral didn't ship in a REEF JASE box, it isn't us.
