THE CORALDEX
How it works
Every SPS morph we list in a generation gets a numbered slot. Open one and it is yours to see; buy one and it is yours to keep. Fill the board.
OPEN YOUR BOARD β01
Discovering a coral
Opening a coralβs page marks that morph as seen on your board. Not a card in a grid, not a thumbnail in search β the page itself. A morph counts once, however many pieces of it you look at.
Seeing a morph for the first time is worth 4 XP, up to 120 XP in total β about 30 discoveries. Past that, finding morphs still fills your board and still shows you what is out there, but the points come from keeping corals rather than looking at them.
Discoveries are remembered on your device before you sign in, and move onto your board the first time you do. Seen never reverts. If the coral sells out, retires, or dies in your tank, you still saw it.
02
Owning a coral
Any paid order containing a piece of a morph marks it owned. It counts from the moment the order is paid, not when it ships, and owning three pieces of the same morph is still one slot β the card shows the count.
A new morph in your collection is worth 60 XP, with no cap. Owned never reverts either. We will never ask you whether a coral lived.
A refunded or cancelled order releases the slot, unless another order of yours still holds that morph.
03
Levels and emblems
Every 100 XP is a level. There is no curve and no ceiling β the number just keeps climbing.
On the way up you earn emblems. They are meant to be hard, and the last one is meant to be something almost nobody has.
We will not tell you what they look like or where they are. You will know when you have one.
04
What you get
Own 7 different morphs and you unlock 15% off your next order. Own 20 and you unlock it again.
It is the collection that unlocks it, not the spend β 7 different corals, however much or little they cost. Browsing alone never unlocks anything, and levels never hand out money. Your rank is for pride; the reward is for collecting.
Each reward is single use, uncapped, and does not expire. Use it whenever you like.
05
Generations
The board is a generation β everything listed inside a window, sold out or not. A morph that sells out stays on your board, so the board never shrinks under you, and a coral you missed is still there to find.
Generation I runs to November 30, 2026. Slot numbers freeze when a generation closes, so a number never moves once you have seen it.
06
Specials
Some corals were never a morph. A graft of two animals grown together, a chunk rather than a frag, a whole colony β one-offs that will not come back as themselves. They sit in their own section below the generation, with S numbers instead of Dex numbers.
A special counts as yours and earns the same 60 XP as any other coral you keep. What it does not do is hold the generation open: you can finish Generation I without ever owning one, and missing a special never leaves a family incomplete.
Specials do not seal. There is no window to catch, and no way to hunt for one β if you meet it, you meet it.
07
Your board is private
There is no leaderboard, no public profile, nothing shared, and no way for anyone to see what you own. Your Coraldex is yours.
